Bourgogne Franche-Comté supports new talents. We're always on the lookout for researchers with an entrepreneurial mindset. Our Entrepreneurial Researchers programme subsidises students with a dual specialisation in research and management, looking to develop research skills as well as an entrepreneurial or managerial qualification, with the aim of: Encouraging the creation of businesses based on innovation in the following sectors: High technology, Welfare, Organisational development, Trade; Inviting researchers to promote their work and to create their own businesses in line with their research theme; Identifying and developing business-oriented research projects likely to deliver an outcome with a high technological value.
Our call for bids is especially aimed at regional research laboratories. We subsidise two types of programmes: a 36-months PhD grant (with an upper limit of €100,000 in 2020, entrepreneurial training included); and a 12-months postdoctoral grant (with an upper limit of €60,000 in 2020, entrepreneurial training included). Is your laboratory looking to apply? We’d love to hear from you. You can help us find candidates by: Identifying PhD projects likely to result in the creation of innovative businesses; Passing on this offer to highly motivated students with an entrepreneurial mindset, possibly interested in an ICE PhD grant; Passing on this offer to PhD students whose work seems especially adapted to the creation of a high-tech business, with a view to apply for a postdoctoral grant. PhD subjects should allow for an in-depth research project, with a focus on scientific, technological, or social questions with a high value creation potential.
