Institut Denis Diderot (as part of the INSPE Bourgone) has been training professionals for over 30 years, specialising in the cultural sector (with a focus on the performing arts, visual arts and heritage management) and the education sector (with a specialisation in education sciences). Our master’s combine on-the-job training with academic education. All through the year, we offer personalised mentoring to help our student define their career path of choice. Contact us if you are considering the option of joining one of our programmes directly in second year.

Because we believe in the confrontation of academic theory with practical experience, a hands-on approach is at the heart of what we do. From the time you enter the programme to your graduation, we strive to provide you with the appropriate skills to build your career of choice. Our team brings together academic lecturers and researchers as well as a wide network of professionals, many of them alumni of our programmes. Through a close connection with the creative and cultural sector, our courses keep up to date with current demands, which we explore through the year by hosting on-site seminars with our partners.
Prospective students should show interest in hands-on project management, be willing to participate in the activities of the Institut’s partners, and have a taste for teamwork. Second year ends with the writing of a professional thesis based on your professional experience, explored through the lens of the academic notions studied during the year.
